I am soooo sick of these sports analysts, reporters, commentators, and sportscasters with their “the tim duncan’s, michael jordan’s, tom brady’s, la laker’s, duke’s (etc’s) of the world”. STOP DOING THAT!!! They rattle off these lists of like four or five teams (players, etc) and put the pointless and ridiculous ’s at the end of them. It’s the most cliche thing to say in the sports world and they all sound like a bunch of retard five year olds. Just say this player is good like michael jordan, not the michael jordan’s of the world. You sound like a jerk off.

Well it’s official the house in the Outer Banks of North Carolina has been leased. Right now I have received payments from Ryan Baker and myself, the total comes to $232 per person for the entire week of August 16 – 23, 2008. It’s gonna be a ridiculously fun week, I have about 13 people already signed on, they just haven’t payed. We’re looking at a total max of 20 people, which is the total to sleep everybody comfortably. If anybody is interested in coming let me know, and have a check or cash for $232 to guarantee a spot, money talks in this case. Spots are going fast, so if you wanna go, LET ME KNOW!!! Here are some pics of the place. Here’s the link.

This place is huge. It has four levels, the fourth being an OBSERVATION DECK. It has a private pool, hot tub, pool table, SIX bathrooms, a gameroom, a grill, wet bar, poolside patio, seven bedrooms, including four master bedrooms, a total of 12 beds, it has wireless internet and ethernet ports, it’s got a fireplace, and basketball hoop. The backyard looks like it might be big enough for some football too, maybe . This place is gonna be THE PLACE TO BE, this summer. For $232 for an ENTIRE week at this WONDERLAND is a steal. SIGN ON!

Saw Nicole Atkins last night at T.T. the Bear’s in Cambridge with Amy. Apparently it was the first show of her first tour, which was pretty cool. I found her on Conan about a month or so ago, and thought she was bangin’ hot, with a super segz voice. I turned her on to Amy, and it turned me on even more. This chick is hot, and we’ve got vids.

Just got off the elevator, an old man came in with a basket full of white and brown beans, and said the following, “Diversity. Human beans.”
Gotta run, Fragile Frankie Merman is speaking.

Doc Rivers and Barack Obama have the same exact voice. Doc’s son is white. Obama’s mama is white. They are the same voice. They aren’t the same person. Neither is better than the other. Each is best at what they do, at least in the polls, nigga. Eatcha soul food, ya’ll gonna need it.

I want to be a basketball coach. This is no joke, son. I’m not saying I want to be a professional coach, by any means, no one wants that kind of pressure, or stress, christ. And the money is only as good as you are. But I LOVE the game of basketball more than pretty much anything (sans Amy). There really is nothing else that gets me more riled up or passionate than a Celtics game. So much so, that it seems that I may have some sort of fiscal investment on the team, but it really is just an incredible passion for the sport. Due to my sports induced “asthma” and lack of true athletic ability, I never amounted to anything but a “high jumper” in this sport of sports. But it’s never stopped me from pretending I can play, or stopping me from playing at all. But I crave more, I crave the structured, officiated game. But other than joining a gym league, I’ll never really be a part of a basketball team, playing for a winning record, and striving for a championship, at whatever level. There’s nothing better than being the player that hits the winning shot, and the entire crowd going nuts because of it. It’s happened to me, I happened to be in eight grade, and they were my only two points of the game, but it happened and it felt great. I want to feel that excitement again. I want to pour my passion and intensity into a team that I control. The Celtics will do what they do whether I live or die, I want to be the man that runs the helm. I don’t know how you get to be a coach on the middle/high school level, but it’s something I would like to pursue on the side, when school’s done of course. It may be just a passing feeling, but basketball will always burn hot inside my scrod, so even if it just comes down to me coaching my kids school team, like my pops did with Dan’s team, it’ll be something. Right NOW, though I really wanna play. I gotta get my cardio going, the summer is only like four months away.

I’ll never understand, living in NEW ENGLAND, why so many people hate the Patriots. I understand the Red Sox versus Yankees battle in CT, but I really don’t understand why the Pats are so hated here. I guess there could be still some bad taste for them not moving to EH, but come on, get over that. Plus would they be any more liked if that was the case? Why wouldn’t you love the best team in the league when they play in your region/state. I understand hating good teams from other parts of the country, but you gotta have some love for the team that plays in your back yard. Whatever, I don’t care that much, I just find it weird that there are so many haters in CT, just seems stupid to me. Lets go Celtics, for christ’s sake.
